Congratulations to These Florida Patriots on Their/Our Wins Last Night

If Democrats Win the House They Will Chair Key Committees – STOP THEM

by Alan Berkelhammer:

This would not be good:

Judge Judy would not be happy if Republicans do not turn out on Election Day and let the Democrats take over the House.

But remember, this does not have to happen. You can help keep the gains of the last two years from being reversed by the Democrats (AKA Progressives, AKA Socialists), the prosperity, the low unemployment, the conservative Supreme Court justices, the reductions in bureaucratic regulations, the strong economic growth. Here’s a list of 52 Trump accomplishments. If you haven’t already voted, get out there and vote. And whether you have or not, talk to your friends, neighbors and relatives and let them know how important it is to vote to keep this train on the right track – LIBERTY AND PROSPERITY.

And when you hear people saying that the Democrats are going to win the mid-terms, whether it be in the media (print, radio or TV), in live conversations or in the pundit polls, just remember how wrong those polls were in 2016:

President Trump Strongly Endorses Ted Yoho for Congress

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, President Donald J. Trump gave Congressman Ted Yoho his complete and total endorsement and commended him for the fantastic job he has done in Congress to date. Yoho is running for reelection in Florida’s 3rd Congressional District and will face Judson Sapp in the August 28th  Republican primary. Ironically, Sapp, has a new ad slamming incumbent Yoho for his lack of support for President Donald Trump’s agenda. But it would seem that the president would disagree.

Yoho Responds to Trump-Putin Summit

July 16, 2018:  Ted Yoho released the following statement in response to the recent meeting between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin:

“It’s easy to comment and criticize on a press conference without knowing what was said in the closed-door hearing.  To critique the meeting between President Trump and Putin without facts is irresponsible as things were said that both leaders at this point are not willing to divulge. Could things have been said differently, better, stronger and more direct?  ABSOLUTELY. There was a missed opportunity to tell not just Russia but any country or entity that tampering with our elections will result in tough consequences in order to protect and preserve our Republic. I don’t agree with President Trump’s comments that Putin didn’t interfere as the evidence is clear. However, I don’t believe there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.  I also believe the DNC and the Clinton e-mails need to be investigated as vigorously as President Trump has been because at the end of the day, we are a nation of laws and we must uphold them.

“That said, we know that Russia meddled in our elections and should be held accountable for their interference. It is debatable and I am doubtful whether or not meddling influenced the outcome of the election but regardless, there must be consequences for these actions against our sovereignty. Russia specifically needs to be held accountable for their destructive actions across the globe that include but are not limited to invading Crimea, propping up Assad while helping him commit war crimes against his own people, and poisoning expatriates on foreign soil.

“With regard to our intelligence agencies, I am of the position that we have the best and most dedicated agents that serve this nation. Like with any organization, a few bad apples have presented themselves and it is our job as elected leaders collectively to restore the American people’s trust in these critical agencies and their mission. I am hopeful that the Mueller probe leads to concrete convictions against foreign actors trying to harm our Republic and will be included with the existing sanctions. These sanctions are the toughest we have seen since Reagan and will produce results.

“For those who are outraged at President Trump and claim he was either too hard or too soft were you as critical of President Obama’s world tour apologizing for America’s past aggressions?  It’s time to check our political affiliation cards at the door and remember that one meeting doesn’t define a Presidency.”

In “The Swamp,” Fearless Reps Expose the Corruption on Capitol Hill

by Joe Wolverton, II, J.D.

Unlike many other politicians who have promised to take on the establishment and “drain the swamp,” Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) is actually trying to do just that, and is taking some serious flak for his exposure of the Deep State and its agents on Capitol Hill.

In a video series entitled The Swamp,Massie, along with Representatives Dave Brat and Tom Garrett of Virginia, Ken Buck of Colorado, Rod Blum of Iowa, and Ted Yoho of Florida (bold type: mine), are showing people “what happens behind the scenes in Congress.” To date, there are four episodes, each running about 10 minutes.

Besides pulling back the curtain to reveal the names and tactics of those who really pull the legislative levers in Congress, The Swamp videos make it very obvious that, although there are 435 members of the House of Representatives, the key decisions are made by a handful of very powerful leaders bent on controlling the country and that the betrayal is bipartisan.

When asked about how bills get passed when there seems to be opposition in Congress, at least when controversial bills are first offered, Representative Blum responded, “Most all the decisions around here are made by a few people at the very top, without the input of any other congressional members or U.S. senators. That’s not good representative government, wouldn’t you say?”

As for which party is most responsible for the bankrupting of the country and the disregard of the Constitution and its enumerated powers, another segment of The Swamp points the finger at both sides of the aisle.

“I think both parties are engaged in a quiet deal that we will support our base, and if it leads to bankruptcy, okay, and you will support your base, and if it leads to bankruptcy, okay,” Representative Buck says in Episode 1.

Ted Yoho Votes against Spending Bill: Calls It “Legislative Malpractice”

Congressman Ted Yoho voted against the Omnibus spending bill on Thursday. The bill passed the House with a 256/157 vote. Last night Yoho placed a comment about his vote to a post that appeared on this site entitled, The Omnibus Bill in Summary: Betrayal. Often many people don’t get to see the comments since they appear at the bottom of a post, so I decided to repost Ted’s comment below:

Hello Patriots,

The Omnibus bill was legislative malpractice and betrayal performed by the Republican Party against those that voted us into office. It was negotiated by Paul Ryan,Kevin McCarthy, Steny Hoyer, Mitch McConnel, Chuck Schumer. None of the Republican majority memebers were included other than leaderships select few. This bill in process is more egregious than what the Dems lead by Speaker Pelosi with Obamacare and Dodd Frank.

There were 25 Republicans that voted against the rule trying to prevent this sham but we failed.
This bill was not read by anyone that voted for it . I voted against this insult to you the American people. Don’t fall for the excuses they use to justify their decision. There all great excuses. However, you only have to have one good reason to oppose it. It’s bad for the future of America.
Keep the faith and send more Patriots to Washington.
Thanks,
Ted S. Yoho
