Tucker Carlson Vows to Never Bow to the Leftist Mob

Tucker Carlson: We will never bow to the leftist mob’s attempts to silence us, no matter what.

As anyone who has ever been caught in its gears can tell you, the great American outrage machine is a remarkable thing. One day you’re having dinner with your family, imagining everything is fine. The next, your phone is exploding with calls from reporters.

They read you snippets from a press release written by Democratic Party operatives. They demand to know how you could possibly have said something so awful and offensive, and ask something like, “Do you have a statement on how immoral you are?” It’s a bewildering moment, especially when the quotes in question are more than a decade old.

There’s really not that much you can do to respond. It’s pointless to try to explain how the words were spoken in jest or taken out of context, or in any case, bear no resemblance to what you actually think or would want for the country. None of that matters. Nobody cares. You know the role you’re required to play. You are a sinner that needs the forgiveness of Twitter.

So you issue a statement of deep contrition. You apologize profusely for your transgressions. You promise to be a better person going forward with the guidance of your contrition consultants. You send money to whatever organization that claims to represent the people you supposedly offended. Then you sit back, and brace for a wave of stories about your apology, all of which simply provide a pretext for attacking you again.

In the end, you get fired, you lose your job. Nobody defends you. Your neighbors avert their gaze as you pull into the driveway. You are ruined. And yet, no matter how bad it gets, no matter how despised and humiliated you may be, there is one thing you can never do — one thing that is absolutely not allowed. You can never acknowledge the comic absurdity of the whole thing. You can never laugh in the face of the mob.

Since the day we went on the air, they [the left] have been working hard to kill this show. We haven’t said much about it in public; it seemed too self- referential. The point of this show has never been us. But now, it’s obvious to everybody. There is no pretending that it is not happening. It is happening, and so, going forward, we’ll be covering their efforts to make us be quiet.

Pollak: The Attack on Alex Jones Is An Attack on Free Speech

We YOU need your help. This is a frontal assault on our YOUR free speech.

by Joel B. Pollak:

Internet provocateur and InfoWars proprietor Alex Jones is being systematically excluded from social media platforms. This is, plainly, an attack on free speech.

Over the weekend, Facebook removed several Alex Jones-related pages, and Apple deleted many of his podcasts. On Monday, YouTube followed suit by deleting his video channel. Pinterest closed its InfoWars page. Twitter may soon do the same.

The timing is no coincidence: all of these outlets are responding to a campaign by left-wing activists who are determined to shut down conservative voices — including Breitbart.

It is a shameful effort — which is why some of those responsible for the boycotts have tried to maintain their anonymity.

Today, they are circulating “copy/paste” talking points that argue they are not abusing freedom of speech or the press by pushing companies to ban Jones, because “free speech protects you from your government.” Jones is being censored by private companies, not the government. He has no right, after all, to force anyone to carry his content.

It is true that the First Amendment is not implicated by private censorship, but free speech certainly is damaged by it.

From the point of view of the person being silenced, it makes absolutely no difference whether the censor is a policeman or a mob. And freedom of speech is a social value, a characteristic of an open and democratic society that has exists quite independently of the government. It is — or ought to be — sustained by civil society, even and especially when the views expressed are objectionable. Read the rest of this article HERE.

Republicans Hypocritical Transformation of Medicare into Obamacare

Note:  This article is from the blog of  Dr. David McKalip, a board certified brain and spine surgeon who practices in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Dr. McKalip is a Conservative/Libertarian who is a longtime friend of the tea party.  He is an expert on Obamacare and has fought tirelessly over the years to educate the medical community, government officials and bureaucrats and the general public on the evils of government controlled medicine.

The Republicans displayed this Obamacare Rube Goldberg chart when fighting against it. House Republicans just voted to implement this chart for Medicare – Email the Senate and tell them “NO” Obamacare rationing and cookbook medicine in Medicare!

Last Week, House Republicans demonstrated their hypocrisy on Obamacare, bringing nearly every key item of Obamacare into the Medicare. Disguised as a “Doc fix” bill, to correct a pending 21% cut in Medicare Physician payments, the bill actually creates cookbook medicine and outright rationing for Medicare patients. A nearly identical bill has failed to pass twice in Congress since 2013, but was finally passed when Republicans gained control.  Medicare patients will now be subject to doctors who are coerced into following government cookbook and rationing standards to earn a “bonus”. The patient will be pitted against their doctor who will have incentives tied to the profitability of insurance companies and budget needs of failing government programs.  In short, it will be hard for Medicare patients to trust their doctors.

Hopefully the Senate will kill HR2 and go back to the drawing board.  Citizens are encouraged to call or email their Senator to tell them “No Obamacare rationing and cookbook medicine in Medicare: Vote NO on HR2!”.

The bill, HR 2, the “Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015”, passed the House with Bipartisan support with a wide margins. However, the bill stalled in the Senate were fiscal conservatives raised concerns about the bill and liberals were worried that the Children’s Health insurance program (CHIP) was only extended for two years rather than four. The main commonality of HR2 with Obamacare consists of the command and control structure becomes more formalized and structured into Medicare.  This stands in stark contrast to the promise made by Congress when Medicare was originally passed in 1965. The law still stands and states (although is entirely ignored in new Congressional bill):
