So she spent the afternoon reading these articles about Global Warming.

Experts Warn Hundreds of Thousands of Deaths from Global Warming as Frigid Weather Grips the Country

by Penny Starr:

The United States is in the grip of frigid winter weather but the New England Journal of Medicine is warning this month that the World Health Organization’s (WHO) 2014 prediction of 250,000 deaths each year between 2030 and 2050 from global warming may underestimate the threat.

WHO said deaths would be contributed to, among other things, malnutrition, heat stress and malaria. Read MORE.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: ‘The World Is Going to End in Like 12 Years if We Don’t Address Climate Change’

by Matthew Boyle:

Devout socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) says that the world will stop spinning in a dozen years if “climate change” is left unchecked. Ocasio-Cortez is pushing a new plan in Congress she calls her “Green New Deal” to confront climate matters.

“I think that the part of it that is generational is that millennials and Gen-Z and all these folks that come after us are looking up and we’re like, ‘the world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change and your biggest issue is–your biggest issue is ‘how are we going to pay for it?’” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And, like, this is the war–this is our World War II.” Read MORE.

1,500 Private Jets Descend on Davos Carrying Globalist Elite for Climate Talks

by Simon Kent

At least 1,500 private jets are expected to descend on Davos and nearby airports in Switzerland this week as the international financial and political elite gathers to talk about global climate challenges.

That would be up from the more than 1,300 aircraft movements seen at last year’s forum, despite climate change registering as the top risk factor identified for the global economy in a survey of World Economic Forum (WEF) movers and shakers last week. Read MORE.

FLASHBACK: Exactly One Decade Ago Today Al Gore Prophesied The North Pole Would Be Iceless

by Wes Walker:

Al Gore is basically the Bernie Madoff of Environmental Science … and he’s made himself a tidy sum while doing it.

Al Gore has made some very — Bold — predictions in his day. Predictions that haven’t exactly worked out the way he said they would.

The 2008 video has been deleted (surprise, surprise) but he said it again in Copenhagen in 2009: MORE.

Al Gore is basically the Bernie Madoff of Environmental Science … and he’s made himself a tidy sum while doing it.

Al Gore has made some very — Bold — predictions in his day. Predictions that haven’t exactly worked out the way he said they would.

The 2008 video has been deleted (surprise, surprise) but he said it again in Copenhagen in 2009:

He didn’t just repeat it there, he doubled down. The climate change crowd still hails him as a hero for helping to mainstream his pet political issue. And they get really prickly if you start poking around at any of their sacred cows.

Headlines get packed with trendy buzzwords like ‘settled science’, ‘scientific consensus’, or ‘climate change deniers’. You can’t tackle the Al Gore issue without addressing those too, so let’s deal with that first.

None of those phrases are actually “science”. They’re marketing and framing of an issue. They have nothing to do with science itself. A historical example can help show what we mean.

Back in the 1980s there was a ‘HUGE’ news story about a breakthrough discovery. Scientists had discovered “Cold fusion” — or so they claimed. There was only one problem — their model turned out to be unrepeatable and was eventually proven to be bogus.

That’s the cool thing about true science. Either it is true, or it is false. If it is false, all the pretty words in the world cannot force it to be true.

Which takes us back to Al Gore. First, he lose(sic) a court battle over ‘Nine Critical Errors’ he made in his movie ironically named: “Inconvenient Truth”.

In September, he spouted propaganda that got him publicly slapped down by a PHD grounded in actual facts: Read the rest of this article at clashdaily.com.

RIP: Weather Channel Founder John Coleman Dies – Called Global Warming a ‘Hoax’

Coleman: ‘When the temperature data could no longer be bent to support global warming, they switched to climate change and now blame every weather and climate event on CO2 despite the hard, cold fact that the “radiative forcing” theory they built their claims on has totally failed to verify.’

‘The current bad science is all based on a theory that the increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere from the exhaust of the burning of fossil fuels leads to a dramatic increase in “the greenhouse effect” causing temperatures to skyrocket uncontrollably. This theory has failed to verify and is obviously dead wrong. But the politically funded and agenda driven scientists who have built their careers on this theory and live well on the 2.6 billion dollars of year of Federal grants for global warming/climate change research cling to this theory and bend the data spread to support the glorified claims in their reports and papers.’ climatedepot.com

Climate Change’ Deleted From White House Website

“At 11:59 am eastern, the official White House website had a lengthy information page about the threat of climate change and the steps the federal government had taken to fight it. At noon, at the instant Donald Trump took office, the page was gone, as well as any mention of climate change or global warming.”

By Marc Morano:

WASHINGTON, DC — A climate of change! Perhaps the most stark contrast between the Obama administration and the Trump administration is on “global warming”. The climate differences were visible today as the White House website was scrubbed of all references to “climate change” at exactly noon today just as President Donald Trump was sworn in.

Climate Depot statement: “Climate skeptics are thrilled that one of the very first visible changes of the transition of power between President Obama and President Trump is the booting of “climate change” from the White House website. Trump is truly going to make science great again and reject the notion that humans are the control knob of the climate and UN treaties and EPA regulations can somehow regulate temperature and storminess. Obama: Talking About Climate Change ‘Act of Defiance’ Against Islamic State

President Obama is like a beautiful sunrise: each morning, he astonishes anew. Except that the sunrise is beautiful, and President Obama is simply stupid.

That’s the kind gloss on Obama’s latest trip to Paris, where he has repeatedly stated that he is fighting ISIS by sitting in mahogany-paneled rooms eating delicacies with fellow world leaders and chatting about how to hamper global economic growth on behalf of environmentalist redistributionism. Speaking in Paris, Obama said that talking climate change is “an act of defiance that proves nothing will deter us.”

Deter us from what? Obama said that we would build a better future, and that ISIS couldn’t stop us, as though Muslim terrorists are sitting around in Syria making nefarious plans to expend carbon, cursing the new Global Alliance Against Cow Farts. Naturally, Obama trotted out his favorite language to describe those who disagree with his agenda: they’re cynics. “One of the enemies we will be fighting at this conference is cynicism,” Obama said – and fighting cynicism will presumably be a more important task than fighting radical Muslims who wish to murder Westerners. She’s Created an Environmentalist Monster

09/14/2015:  Today Rush Limbaugh talked about a mother sending her son off to college: “Bidding my college-bound son good riddance. I have raised a sweet, thoughtful, environmentally conscious monster—and soon I will be free.”

By Ronnie Cohen

My son, Cory, will leave our Northern California home to start college back East in the fall, prompting other mothers to offer condolences about my soon-to-be-empty nest. Though they expect me to break into tears, my overriding emotion when my youngest departs will be relief. I will finally be freed from the constant scrutiny of the ever-vigilant eco-warrior I raised.

I can do nothing right in my teenage son’s eyes. He grills me about the distance traveled of each piece of fruit and every vegetable I purchase. He interrogates me about the provenance of all the meat, poultry, and fish I serve. He questions my every move—from how I choose a car (why not electric?) and a couch (why synthetic fill?) to how I tend the garden (why waste water on flowers?)—an unremitting interrogation of my impact on our desecrated environment. While other parents hide alcohol and pharmaceuticals from their teens, I hide plastic containers and paper towels. Continue reading at psmag.com.
