Kids Who Confronted Dianne Feinstein Will Be Republicans in 13 Years

Facebook/Sunshine Movement Screenshot

by John Nolte

It’s a bit premature, but I’d like to be the first to welcome to the Republican Party those Sunrise Movement kids who confronted Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) about the Green New Deal.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the world’s enviro-loons and that 12-year doomsday deadline, which I am most grateful for. For a while, it seemed as though The-Weather-Fascists-Who-Want-to-Control-My-Life had smartened up, had figured out that deadlines that sound like a Syfy Channel movie — 2149: DoomsDayaSharkaGeddon — were a much smarter way to go.

You see, by pushing the Doom Deadline out to 2149, there is no way for an enviro-liar to look foolish because we’ll all die of old age before we can point and laugh at yet another false prediction.

But a 12-year deadline?

Oh. Hell. Yes.

And please do continue to make that 12-year deadline as famous as you can.

Thank you, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)!

Thank you, lunatic Sunrise Movement!

Thank you for doing your part to create more and more climate skeptics, more and more Republicans, more and more reasonable people who will soon see through your tired-ass lies.

Not every one of the kids in the video below will see the light in 13 years. But sometime during the year 2032, a few of them will be living in their mothers’ basements enjoying virtual reality porn when it hits them: the VR goggles will fly off, a rubber woman will hit the floor, and a cry will go up: “Hey, I got hoaxed!”

Experts Warn Hundreds of Thousands of Deaths from Global Warming as Frigid Weather Grips the Country

JOSEPH PREZIOSO/AFP/Getty Images

by Penny Starr:

The United States is in the grip of frigid winter weather but the New England Journal of Medicine is warning this month that the World Health Organization’s (WHO) 2014 prediction of 250,000 deaths each year between 2030 and 2050 from global warming may underestimate the threat.

WHO said deaths would be contributed to, among other things, malnutrition, heat stress and malaria. Read MORE.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: ‘The World Is Going to End in Like 12 Years if We Don’t Address Climate Change’

GETTY/MTV

by Matthew Boyle:

Devout socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) says that the world will stop spinning in a dozen years if “climate change” is left unchecked. Ocasio-Cortez is pushing a new plan in Congress she calls her “Green New Deal” to confront climate matters.

“I think that the part of it that is generational is that millennials and Gen-Z and all these folks that come after us are looking up and we’re like, ‘the world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change and your biggest issue is–your biggest issue is ‘how are we going to pay for it?’” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And, like, this is the war–this is our World War II.” Read MORE.

1,500 Private Jets Descend on Davos Carrying Globalist Elite for Climate Talks

by Simon Kent

At least 1,500 private jets are expected to descend on Davos and nearby airports in Switzerland this week as the international financial and political elite gathers to talk about global climate challenges.

That would be up from the more than 1,300 aircraft movements seen at last year’s forum, despite climate change registering as the top risk factor identified for the global economy in a survey of World Economic Forum (WEF) movers and shakers last week. Read MORE.

FLASHBACK: Exactly One Decade Ago Today Al Gore Prophesied The North Pole Would Be Iceless

by Wes Walker:

Al Gore is basically the Bernie Madoff of Environmental Science … and he’s made himself a tidy sum while doing it.

Al Gore has made some very — Bold — predictions in his day. Predictions that haven’t exactly worked out the way he said they would.

The 2008 video has been deleted (surprise, surprise) but he said it again in Copenhagen in 2009: MORE.

Delingpole: Gore’s ‘An Inconvenient Sequel’ – Fact-Checked…

Meteorologist Roy Spencer has written a book which fact-checks Al Gore’s latest climate-disaster-porn movie An Inconvenient Sequel.

Spoiler alert: Gore’s scaremongering ‘facts’ are all inconveniently untrue.

Spencer, a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, begins his book An Inconvenient Deception kindly, by noting that he much prefers the new movie to its 2006 Oscar-winning prequel An Inconvenient Truth.

It was much less of a PowerPoint presentation and more of a human interest story. It follows Gore over the years as he tries to convince fellow politicians, foreign heads of state, and the public that the climate crisis is real. While some have considered Gore’s role in the movie to be too self-indulgent, I thought it showed some humanity in someone many people over the years have considered too “stiff”.

But there the praise ends. When Spencer saw the movie, he was one of only three viewers in a 750-seat theater – and one of these people walked out half way through. This local reaction is borne out by the movie’s dismal reception at the box office. No one is going to see Al Gore’s terrible new movie. And – scientifically speaking, at least – they’re really not missing much.

Here are some of Al Gore’s dubious claims rebutted.

Greenland Melting

Gore is shown visiting cryospheric expert Konrad Steffen.

“Surface melting is shown with dramatic aerial video. Rivers of meltwater form and plunge down into huge holes in the ice sheet called “moulins”.”

But:

“What isn’t mentioned is that this happens every summer, naturally.”

In fact this is a good example of Gore’s favorite cheat: show dramatic footage of a natural event – eg ice melting rapidly – and then leave the viewer to infer that this is another disastrous and unprecedented consequence of man-made climate change. It spares him the risk of telling flat out lies which might get fact-checked later. The viewer’s imagination does all Gore’s dirty work…

Meanwhile, in the real world, remember, Greenland recently recorded its coldest temperature ever measured in July for the Northern Hemisphere.

Flooding in Miami

Gore wants you to believe that this is caused by climate change. After all, in his previous movie he predicted sea level rises of 20 feet.

Sadly in the real world sea level has continued to rise at the same rate as for the last 150 years – about an inch per decade.

Miami has always been beset by tidal flooding – so called “king tides”. But the other big problem is that its land has been sinking at a rate of around an inch per decade (3mm a year). Neither this, nor the sea level rise, has anything to do with climate change.

Climate Change’ Deleted From White House Website

“At 11:59 am eastern, the official White House website had a lengthy information page about the threat of climate change and the steps the federal government had taken to fight it. At noon, at the instant Donald Trump took office, the page was gone, as well as any mention of climate change or global warming.”

By Marc Morano:

WASHINGTON, DC — A climate of change! Perhaps the most stark contrast between the Obama administration and the Trump administration is on “global warming”. The climate differences were visible today as the White House website was scrubbed of all references to “climate change” at exactly noon today just as President Donald Trump was sworn in.

Climate Depot statement: “Climate skeptics are thrilled that one of the very first visible changes of the transition of power between President Obama and President Trump is the booting of “climate change” from the White House website. Trump is truly going to make science great again and reject the notion that humans are the control knob of the climate and UN treaties and EPA regulations can somehow regulate temperature and storminess. University of Colorado Bans Free Inquiry of Students Questioning Global Warming

By Thomas D. Williams, PH.D.

In the midst of national debates concerning free speech on college campuses, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs has opted to clamp down on students who challenge the reigning orthodoxy regarding manmade global warming.

Last week, three professors co-teaching a course titled “Medical Humanities in the Digital Age” emailed a statement to all students informing them that anthropogenic climate change is not up for debate in their course.

“We will not, at any time, debate the science of climate change, nor will the ‘other side’ of the climate change debate be taught or discussed in this course,” the professors said in their letter obtained by The College Fix.

Regarding those inquisitive students who would like to discuss the issue rather than blindly accepting the global warming dogma, the professors “respectfully ask that you do not take this course.”

“The point of departure for this course is based on the scientific premise that human induced climate change is valid and occurring,” the letters states.

The letter, signed by course instructors Rebecca Laroche, Wendy Haggren and Eileen Skahill, was sent in response to concerns expressed by several students after watching the first online lecture about the impacts of climate change.

The professors, backed by University Communications Director Tom Hutton, said that the ban on debate even extends to discussion among students in the online forums.

Students are also forbidden from using outside sources for research in the course, and may only reference materials that have been approved by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

But there’s hope. Read on HERE.

How Many Westerners Will Die to Make #RefugeesWelcome?

Jihadist With Knifeby Ben Shapiro

How many Westerners will leftists allow to die in order to achieve their utopian vision of a multicultural world without borders?

That’s the question of the day as leftists from country to country declare that a few days after 129, people were slaughtered wholesale in France, and the day after two suicide bombers blew themselves up in Paris, the West should refrain from “overreacting” to the threat of radical Islam.

President Obama has suggested that only bigotry would motivate conservatives to shut the door to unvetted Syrian Muslim refugees; Hillary Clinton has suggested the same. Today, the White House launched a #RefugeesWelcome hashtag campaign. At the Brookings Institute website, Jeremy Shapiro writes that we must be careful not to “overreact” to the Paris attacks; Secretary of State John Kerry says people “shouldn’t be hysterical” about the Syrian Muslim refugee issue. New York Mayor Bill De Blasio explains that closing our borders to Syrian Muslim refugees would grant “terrorists a victory over our democracy,” as though American democracy depends on importing hundreds of thousands of people who do not share Western democratic values; Bloomberg columnist Margaret Carlson avers that by accepting Muslims, even radical ones, we might westernize our enemies. Global Warming Causes Sierra Club President to Melt

That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!

Presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is showing Sierra Club President Aaron Mair to be an ideological hack and global warming alarmist.

At a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight, Cruz subjected him to a withering cross examination. Mair was reduced to stammering and frequent awkward pauses which he used to receive whispered advice from staff. He repeatedly referred to the discredited “97 percent of scientists concur” claim, and was unwilling to acknowledge valid scientific data that disproves the claim.

Mark Steyn, sitting in for Rush Limbaugh on Wednesday, called Cruz’s relentless questioning of Mair “a thing of beauty.” Continue reading at breitbart.com.

Climate Change Hypocrite

Barack Obama burned thousands of gallons of jet fuel on Air Force One as he traveled to Alaska to lecture the nation once again about climate change. Just before he left, and just for good measure, he renamed America’s tallest mountain. First, some history: In 1896, William Dickey, a New Hampshire gold prospector in Alaska, named the peak for William McKinley, who supported the gold standard and had just won the Republican nomination for president. Never mind that the Athabascan people called the mountain Denali for thousands of years prior. The name change wasn’t official, however, until 1917, when Congress designated the surrounding area as a national park. And McKinley’s Ohio roots meant he had an important delegation in Washington telling Alaskans what to call their mountain. The Alaskan delegation to Congress introduced legislation in February to change the name to Denali, but it was doubtful to overcome the opposition of Ohioans. (Ain’t our republic grand?) In 1980, the surrounding national park was renamed Denali, but the mountain kept its name — until Obama said otherwise. In announcing the change, the Obama Interior Department said, “In changing the name from Mount McKinley to Denali, we intend no disrespect to the legacy of President McKinley. We are simply reflecting the desire of most Alaskans to have an authentically Alaskan name for this iconic Alaskan feature.” If only the Obama administration showed such deference to states in more important matters. Perhaps he only wanted to tweak John Boehner one more time. Or perhaps he thought it was his destiny to rename the mountain because Denali is an Athabascan word meaning “the great one.” What’s Athabascan for “narcissism”?  This first appeared at thepatriotpostus.

Charlie Daniels – An Open Letter to President Obama

Charlie Daniels Soap Box

I have read several open letters to President Obama over the years. Below is one from Charlie Daniels. Do you agree with him?

By Charlie Daniels – June 8, 2015

Dear Mr. President,

This letter is not written in a spirit of hate, disrespect, nor is it motivated in any way by racial bias and is written with respect due the office and the awesome tasks that have been laid on your shoulders.

I write this letter because I am a tax paying American citizen who has experienced the American Dream and wants his children and grandchildren to have the same advantages and opportunities that he has had.

And no, Mr. President, I was not born into a one-percenter family, I come from a blue collar background, never went to college, have made a living doing manual labor and went into my chosen profession at ground level, worked hard and sacrificed to achieve success.

On April 13, 1967 I arrived in Nashville, Tennessee with a wife, a two-year-old baby, a twenty-dollar bill and the clutch out of my car.

I won’t go into the mountains and valleys that I’ve traveled since then except to say that I have been successful and somebody did help me build the business I own. Almighty God, not the government.

I employ thirty people, good citizens and family people, hard-working people, the kind of gun-clinging, God-fearing folks who make America the greatest nation the world has ever known.

Mr. President, it seems to me that you have little faith in American ingenuity, American capability, American exceptionalism and even American patriotism.

You seem to think that America needs a monolithic, big brother type government to oversee and regulate every aspect of American life, that citizens are not competent to control their own affairs and make their own decisions without some oppressive bureaucracy to call the shots.

Mr. President, the answer is not government, conversely, the problem is government. A government that has doubled the national debt, increased unemployment, lowered take home pay, increased food stamp participation and disability claims and introduced socialized medicine.

You support teacher’s unions which take political activism more seriously than education.

You intentionally lied to the American people about your stand on marriage being between a man and woman, and continue to lie when it is politically expedient for you to do so.

You surround yourself with inexperienced ideologues and political yes men and take the advice of individuals who are swimming in waters way too deep for them.

Your petulance is unbecoming, Mr. President, and your criticism of anyone who disagrees with you is downright unmanly. You come off like a spoiled child who has been denied his way.

And while you blame your shortcomings on opposing political parties, you had both houses of Congress and the White House in the first two years of your term. Plus an electoral mandate to do just about anything you wanted to, so the least you can do is cowboy up and take the blame for the messes you’ve made.

Your apparent disregard for the maintenance and morale of our armed services is extremely unwise and dangerous.

Mr. President, the office you hold is not a place for the faint of heart and when you draw a red line you’d dang well better be willing to back it up, because when you don’t every tyrant and despot in this world takes it for a sign of weakness and will take advantage, Putin and China being a prime example.

In making any kind of deal with Iran you spit in the face of Israel and plant the seeds of a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.

The last report showed that the US economy actually shrunk by .07% while the national debt and other obligations grow by the day.

No matter how many apologists come forth and no matter how much double talk you and the puppets who speak for you come up with, the greatest nation the world has ever known is losing a war with a small army of criminals and thugs that grows bigger every day simply because you don’t have the guts to face the problem.

You’re running out of diversions Mr. President, sleight of hand political policies eventually stop working and lies finally float to the top of water.

Time is running out for you Mr. President and the horrible thing about it is that time is running out for America too.

What do you think?

Pray for our troops and the peace of Jerusalem.

God Bless America
