An Epidemic of Erasures, Redactions, Omissions, and Perjuries

by Victor Davis Hanson:

Imagine the following: The IRS sends you, John Q. Citizen, a letter alleging you have not complied with U.S. tax law. In the next paragraph, the tax agency then informs you that it needs a series of personal and business documents. Indeed, it will be sending agents out to discuss your dilemma and collect the necessary records.

But when the IRS agents arrive, you explain to them that you cannot find about 50 percent of the documents requested, and have no idea whether they even exist. You sigh that both hard copies of pertinent information have unfortunately disappeared and hard drives were mysteriously lost.

You nonchalantly add that you smashed your phone, tablet, and computer with a hammer. You volunteer that, of those documents you do have, you had to cut out, blacken or render unreadable about 30 percent of the contents. After all, you have judged that the redacted material either pertains to superfluous and personal matters such as weddings and yoga, or is of such a sensitive nature that its release would endanger your company or business or perhaps even the country at large.

You also keep silent that you have a number of pertinent documents locked up in a safe hidden in your attic unknown to the IRS. Let them find it, you muse. And when the agents question your unilateral decisions over hours of interrogatories, you remark to them on 245 occasions that you have no memory of your acts—or you simply do not have an answer for them.

In some instances, you state things that are not true, cannot be true by any stretch of the imagination, and contradict things you have said in the past—and you make it clear that you don’t think much of such inconsistencies. When pressed with contradictory evidence, you nonchalantly reply that you gave the “least untruthful” answer.

What would happen to you, a typical American citizen, should you follow this current Washington model of erasing, redacting, omitting, forgetting, and lying? Read the rest of this article at americangreatness.com.

House Releases Transcript Of Comey’s Closed-Door Interview; “I Don’t Remember Used 71 Times”

Saturday afternoon, the House Judiciary Committee published and released a full transcript of former FBI Director James Comey’s Closed door testimony.

According to Fox News, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-SC, published the 235-page transcript as a part of an agreement with Comey.

At first the Former FBI Director challenged the subpoena to appear before the committee and instead pushed for a public hearing.

Lawmakers were frustrated with Comey’s lack of specifics.  A statement issued by Chairman Gowdy’s Office indicated Comey answered “I don’t remember” 71 times, “I don’t know” 166 times and “I don’t recall” eight times. Read the rest of this article at ilovemyfreedom.org.

Bishop: “Andrew Gillum Is a Well-Dressed, Smooth-Talking Pathological Liar”

Andrew Gillum and Adam Corey on a NYC boat ride

Because of documents subpoenaed by the Florida Commission on Ethics and released to the public Tuesday, the citizens of Florida now have learned that Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum is a pathological liar.

And when confronted with anything against him, Andrew will ALWAYS play the race card.

It’s his modus operandi.

According to a story reported in the Tampa Bay Times Tuesday afternoon, Andrew’s former college buddy, campaign treasurer and former Tallahassee lobbyist Adam Corey revealed the Broadway tickets to “Hamilton” were a “gift,” a/k/a  bribe, from an FBI undercover agent:

Barney Bishop

“The text messages show that, contrary to what his campaign has said, Gillum knew the tickets came from ‘Mike Miller,’ who was an FBI agent posing as a developer looking into city corruption.”

“‘Mike Miller and the crew have tickets for us to ‘Hamilton’ tonight at 8 p.m.,’ Corey texted Gillum on August 10, 2016.”

“‘Awesome news about ‘Hamilton,’ Gillum replied, according to the records. The texts appear to refute what Gillum’s campaign said just days after his unlikely win in the Democratic primary for Florida governor.”

The newspaper story goes on to recite what happened in the national television debate: “During Sunday’s debate, DeSantis asked Gillum about the tickets. ‘Did you pay for the Hamilton tickets?’ DeSantis asked. Gillum avoided directly answering the question.”

The cheapest tickets for Hamilton are $452 and can go up to $1,399, depending on where you sit.

By the way Andrew, where did you sit?

And then Andrew played the well-worn race card.

In the Tallahassee Democrat Tuesday morning, Andrew responds “… that at every turn, I was paying my own way or was with my family, for all trips, including picking up tickets from my brother Marcus … but this isn’t about a Broadway show. … The goal is obviously to use my candidacy as a way to reinforce, frankly, stereotypes about black men, Gillum said.”

What stereotypes about black men, Andrew?

No one is suggesting anything about black men, we’re suggesting you are a liar and a crook. It’s about you, not your race. You just happen to be black.

But, Andrew can’t help himself, because if he can convince the mainstream media he’s being victimized because of his race, then he can obfuscate about the truth. Read the rest of this article at sunshinestatenewss.com.

Media Fail: FBI Not Interested in Feinstein’s Kavanaugh Hoax — but ‘Pro’ Journos Take the Bait

by John Nolte:

The FBI will not be investigating Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s (D-CA) last-second attempt to smear Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

After countless hours of hearings, a number of in-depth background checks, thousands of questions asked and answered, and numerous one-on-one meetings with senators of both parties, at the very last second Feinstein dramatically released a letter (she has reportedly had in her possession for months) to the FBI.

“I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court,” she said in a statement. “That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities.”

According to the far-left Washington Post, however, the FBI is not interested and will not be investigating the matter. The Post, however, was happy to add this: “The information came in a letter that describes an alleged episode of sexual misconduct involving the 53-year-old Kavanaugh when he was in high school, according to a person familiar with the matter.” Read the rest of this article at breitbart.com.

Nolte: Helsinki Is One of Trump’s Finest Moments

Wouldn’t it be great if a Never Trumper, a Progressive, a RINO or a member of the Mainstream Media read this article?

Yuri Kadobnov/AFP?Getty

by John Nolte

President Donald Trump proved to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday that he is nobody’s puppet — not Putin’s, not the Deep State’s, and not the establishment media’s. Like the moral strength he showed in Charlottesville, VA, last year, Helsinki should be remembered as one of Trump’s finest moments.

Last August, some truly evil people showed up in Charlottesville. On one side, you had white supremacists, and on the other, you had the left-wing terrorist group Antifa. A riot broke out, one person was murdered, and another 30-plus others were injured.

Almost immediately, the media crafted a narrative around Charlottesville that determined what Trump was supposed to do, which was to make a statement condemning racism and racists. Which he did, more than once. But he also did something he was not supposed to do and that was to, at long last, make an issue of Antifa, who had been running around for the better part of a year acting as the organized left’s Brownshirts.

Antifa had not just been targeting the alt-right. Antifa had been targeting mainstream, everyday conservatives and Trump supporters. And because the establishment media also advocates in favor of violence against the right, Antifa was able to terrorize us with impunity thanks to a media that deliberately ignored, downplayed, justified, glorified, or romanticized their reign of terror.

By having the moral courage to go off-script, Trump used Charlottesville to finally drag these terrorists into the national spotlight, and he did so by telling the truth, by accurately pointing out that “both sides” were responsible for that national disgrace. Trump also had the moral courage to point out there were “good people” on both sides; those who are not racists, who are not left-wing terrorists, who had arrived in good faith to protest against the tearing down of a statue and against racism. The New York Times, of all places, eventually proved Trump correct on this point.

But Trump was supposed to only condemn the white supremacists. He was not supposed to pour sunlight on the media’s shock troops in Antifa, which would limit their effectiveness in the future (and has). He was not supposed to point out that people of good faith can oppose purifying our history with the tearing down of statues. And this is why the media lost its mind for a week.

You see, the establishment media are left-wing activists only interested in one thing, and it has nothing to do with informing the public. Like all leftists, what these awful people most care about is control. The power to control people and events is what defines who they are, and when they sense they are losing that power, when someone dares defy them, like all spoiled children who do not get what they want, they do the only thing left to hold on to their sense of control — they stage a public tantrum.

The media’s post-Charlottesville tantrum was a wonder to behold, and it continues to this day, primarily through lies. Still bitter over Trump’s defiance, the media have fabricated the myth that Trump did not condemn racists (he did, more than once), that he said there are good Nazis (he didn’t), that he created a moral equivalence between racists and anti-racist protesters (he didn’t — what he did was accurately equate Antifa and white supremacists).

Almost a year later, Trump is still walking around with the flaming arrows in his back over Charlottesville, simply because he told the truth about Charlottesville. Which brings me to what happened Monday in Helsinki.

Once again, and this time with the help of that dirty cop, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the establishment media and the Deep State believed they had rigged events to a point where Trump was cornered, where he would have no choice but to publicly berate Putin on the national stage for the sin of “interfering in our elections.”

What the media wanted was to emotionally blackmail Trump into creating an international scene, a YouTube moment with Putin, where the president would violate every diplomatic norm to publicly shame and berate the Russian president.

Why do you think Dirty Cop Mueller dropped his kangaroo indictment (more on this below) just a few days before the Putin summit? It was all coordinated and staged, it was the behavior of spoiled children desperate to get their way.

Wisely, for the good of his country and out respect for the truth, Trump refused to jump in the trap. And now the spoiled children who once again did not get what they want, are having a national tantrum. And moral cowards, like House Speaker Paul Ryan (God bless Rand Paul), are terrified of these spoiled media babies and are seeking only to appease them.

Nevertheless, what really happened is this: Trump showed the gangster Putin that he is his own man, that he cannot be bullied by America’s corrupt political and media establishment into behaving in a certain way, that he is willing to take those flaming arrows to do what he thinks is right, which, in this case, is to never forget the lessons of Iraq.

Keep in mind that what Trump was supposed to do Monday was to drink the Kool-Aid, was to believe our Intelligence Community (IC) got it 100 percent right about Russian meddling, was to throw diplomacy out the window and publicly embarrass Putin.

Thankfully, Trump refused to do that, and now the spoiled children, just as they did after Charlottesville, are again lying and claiming Trump “sided with Putin,” when the only thing Trump’s guilty of is remaining diplomatic, which is the whole point of a summit expressly arranged to facilitate peace.

What is so incredible is that, in this the year 2018, after the intelligence catastrophe that was Iraq, after learning the IC was actively meddling in the 2016 election using Kremlin-fed propaganda in the form of a dossier, only a crazy man would swallow whole what the IC is telling him, and only a dangerously weak man would risk damaging relations with Russia further in order to symbolically appease the IC.

The truth is this, and we all know it, especially those currently in the middle of their tantrum:

  1. Personally, I am not convinced Russia meddled in our election, and I find Dirty Cop Mueller’s kangaroo indictments of people he will never have to prove a case against (because he knows they will not be extradited) to be nothing less than the actions of a flailing prosecutor who’s got less than nothing. Mueller indicting non-American citizens working on behalf of a hostile government is the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my life. It would be like Reagan’s Justice Department indicting the KGB.
  2. Because the documents that convinced Republican investigators Russia meddled in our election came from our IC, I find those conclusions just as suspect.

Here’s One Unverified File the Feds Won’t Leak: About Loretta Lynch

By Paul Sperry, RealClearInvestigations

The FBI had little problem leaking “unverified” dirt from Russian sources on Donald Trump and his campaign aides – and even basing FISA wiretaps on it. But according to the Justice Department’s inspector general, the bureau is refusing to allow even members of Congress with top security clearance to see intercepted material alleging political interference by President Obama’s attorney general, Loretta Lynch.

That material – which has been outlined in press reports – consists of unverified accounts intercepted from putative Russian sources in which the head of the Democratic National Committee allegedly implicates the Hillary Clinton campaign and Lynch in a secret deal to fix the Clinton email investigation.

“It is remarkable how this Justice Department is protecting the corruption of the Obama Justice Department,” said Tom Fitton, president of Washington-based watchdog Judicial Watch, which is suing for the material.

Lynch and Clinton officials as well as the DNC chairman at the time, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, have denied the allegations and characterized them as Russian disinformation. Continue reading at realclearinvestigations.com.

Judge Jeanine – The Deep State Hard at Work

On Saturday’s Justice With Judge Jeanine, Judge Pirro talks about her disappointment with the just released Inspector General’s report on the actions (and the inactions) of the Department of Justice. Here is the full video and a partial transcript of her opening statement:

Partial transcript: I’m a believer. I believe in the system, and I believe in justice. I dedicated more than 30 years
to the criminal justice system and the assignment of blame.

Tonight I’m not angry. I’m just dumbfounded, disheartened and disappointed. Over the long awaited, often delayed Inspector General’s report on the actions of the Department of Justice and the FBI, in the handling of the Hillary Clinton email Investigation. The report’s conclusion, 568 Pages later, FBI director James Comey was insubordinate. There were a few mistakes and errors in judgment. And although there was some bias, there was no evidence of bias in the handling of the email investigation. This report mimics Comey’s conclusions in the email case itself. Both the Inspector General and Comey make out a provable case, and then conclude there IS no case.

Nothing changes. The Deep State hard at work. I don’t know about you, but I’m so tired of lessons learned. They say Comey deviated from the rules. Deviated from the rules? Comey and his FBI cabal fixed a case. Hillary not indicted for her crimes, yet an effort to frame Donald trump for no crime. And no bias in the conclusion? Because someone said yes, I was biased, or said simply “I am not biased?” That’s it? Every day in this country murder cases are tried where there is no admission of guilt, and only denials. And yet jurors decide the accused’s intentions based on what they say, what they do what they don’t do. Determining something one’s intent is not that difficult. Intent can be determined like this: Take a look at these texts. “We’ll stop him from being president.” “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die when you are 40.” “Hillary should win 100 million o zero.” “America will get what the public deserves.” And let’s add a new one folks, from an FBI lawyer.” Vive la resistance. Gee, isn’t that Obama and Hillary’s mantra?

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to understand those statements. They not only indicate a biased, hateful state of mind, they imply unequivocally, a willingness to take official action to impact the election. How do you pledge resistance against the president while you are investigating him? And the Inspector General says there’s no evidence of improper consideration impacting the investigation.

Comey didn’t just deviate from well established practices, he didn’t even do an investigation. He covered for it, by having the same people handle the Hillary case and the Trump frame-up. Folks, it doesn’t happen that way. This case is not about mistakes or errors in judgment. It’s about a Deep State trying to drag a truck across the presidential finish line and trying to destroy the man Americans wanted in the Oval Office.

The Media’s ‘Sean Hannity Standard’ Is a Wonderful Idea!

Paul Zimmerman/Getty

by John Nolte

From what we know so far, conservative talker Sean Hannity had a limited business relationship with Michael Cohen, who is also President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, and who just had his offices, home, and hotel room raided by the FBI. Because Hannity is a commentator with four hours to fill every day, he has a lot to say about the raid.

But now that a partisan judge (to say the least — the swamp is deep, my friends) has forced Cohen to reveal that Hannity is a client, everyone in the establishment media (read those with much lower ratings than Hannity) have the knives out because Hannity did not reveal this potential conflict of interest.

So desperate are they to bloody Hannity, the media have just done a very good thing with the creation of what we will call the “Sean Hannity Standard,” a standard that demands commentators and reporters disclose any and all potential conflicts-of-interest pertaining to the story or person they are reporting on.

What a wonderful idea!

Over at the far-left Politico, Michael Calderone writes, that Hannity “should have disclosed that he’s a client of Cohen’s.”

What a wonderful idea!

Kathleen Bartzen Culver, director of the Center for Journalism Ethics at the University of Wisconsin, told Politico, “commentators should still be expected to maintain independence from subjects they covering and disclose relevant ties.”

What a wonderful idea!

CNN, Media Matters, MSNBC… Everyone agrees with this wonderful idea!

And I could not agree more.

It is long past time for the media to pour sunshine on any and all potential conflicts-of-interest.

And the timing could not be more perfect. Good grief, less than 24 hours before the creation of the “Sean Hannity Standard,” former-President Bill Clinton’s very own press secretary George Stephanopoulos interviewed James Comey, the disgraced former chief of the FBI, about his decision not to prosecute Bill Clinton’s wife Hillary over her countless email crimes (bold type, mine).

Naturally, neither ABC or Stephanopoulos bothered to disclose this.

But thanks to the “Sean Hannity Standard” this will never happen again.

Report: FBI Warned About Potential School Shooter Named Nikolas Cruz in September

Various: Broward County Jail, AP Images, Getty Images

by John Nolte

The FBI was notified in September after a YouTube user named Nikolas Cruz left a comment about wanting to be a “professional school shooter,” reports the far-left BuzzFeed News.

A YouTuber named Ben Bennight emailed the FBI tip-line after he noticed a comment left by a “Nikolas Cruz” on one of his videos. The comment read, “I’m going to be a professional school shooter.”

Bennight lives in Mississippi and says he was “immediately” contacted by the local FBI office. He met with agents the following day. “That was the last I heard from them,” he told BuzzFeed.

In the wake of the arrest of 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz for the murders of 17 people in Wednesday’s school shooting in Parkland, FL, Bennight was again contacted by the FBI.

According to BuzzFeed, Special Agent Ryan Furr left the following voice mail: “I think we spoke with you in the past about a complaint that you made about someone making a comment on your YouTube channel. I just wanted to follow up with you on that and ask you a question with something that’s come up, if you wouldn’t mind giving me a ring.” Continue reading at breitbart.com.

Judge Jeanine – Opening Statement Feb. 3rd, 2018

On Saturday’s Justice With Judge Jeanine, Judge Pirro talks about the now infamous FISA Memo released by the Select Committee on Intelligence. She referred to the Democrats involved as  “A cabal of arrogant condescending employees of our government.” She said that “They needed a reason to spy, so they made it up.” Here is the full video and the complete transcript of her opening statement:

He was right from the beginning. They were spying on him, they were wiretapping, they were listening in, on Trump Tower. They were so desperate, that he not be elected, that they misled the most secret court of the United States in order to spy on an opposing political campaign in order to undermine a presidential election.

Members of the highest echelon in our FBI and Department of Justice, conspired to prevent an outsider from breaking the establishment stranglehold on the American people. They needed a reason to spy so they made one up. They used a dossier of lies, paid for by a major political party, the Democratic Committee and a presidential candidate, Hillary Rodham Clinton to dupe that court. They swore to facts they knew were lies, to get what they wanted in order to surveil a candidate they could not imagine being president.

A cabal of arrogant condescending employees of our government, whose salaries we pay, thought that we didn’t count. They so wanted Hillary to become president that they violated all the rules, and engaged in a charade so we would think there was a real investigation on the emails. They met on the tarmac. They gave people who didn’t qualify immunity from prosecution without getting the required incriminating evidence.

The FBI then changed lanes with the DOJ, and publicly announced a decision in violation of all ethics rules. And they changed legal definitions, to satisfy their political goal. They thought she’d be elected and no one would ever know, but she wasn’t. So they plotted an insurance policy to bring him down anyway.

You know I’ve often talked about the Clintons, coming on the scene from Arkansas in their bell-bottoms, as pigs at the trough, but they really outdid themselves this time, using a foundation and name only to spread the wealth, while infecting our departments of Justice and the FBI. All the while their comrades weaponized our tools of intelligence. This is what they do in third-world countries, not in America.

It’s time for a holier-than-thou Jim Comey, and his band of conspirators from the McCabe and Strzok on down, to have Lady Justice take off her blindfold and see them for what they are. The arrogance of those seeking a change in a presidential election is unheard of in the United States.

And let me be clear, this is not an attack on the FBI or the Department of Justice, because these agencies are bigger than a couple of tainted inhabitants. This is not about one party, versus another. It’s not even about spying on an American citizen. It’s about something even more. It’s about an attempt to change the course of American history, using the most powerful agencies in the United States government. How dare you!

And that’s my open. Tell me what to think on my Facebook page, Twitter and Instagram, hashtag, JudgJeanine.
