by John Nolte:
As the freshman senator from Utah, Mitt Romney is a long way from the presidency. That has to be especially tough on a two-time presidential loser with You-Know-Who sitting in the Oval Office, a guy who took the brass ring by doing the exact opposite of what you did.
My opinion of Mitt Romney has changed over the years. When he lost the Republican nomination to John McCain in 2008, I thought he was a classy guy with a future. When he lost the general election to Barack Obama in 2012, I thought he was a good man with a glass jaw. When he repeatedly got on his high horse to sabotage Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016, I thought he was an opportunistic sleaze bag gorging on sour grapes and his own monstrously selfish sense of virtue.
by John Nolte:
Writing this was easy. Compiling it was a muthah*.
Until you actually take the time to research the amount of lies and lies and lies the establishment media deliberately spread, you can’t begin to fathom just how bad things are. By the time I was done going through the entire year, I literally, no joke, had 11 pages of headlines to choose from for these awards.
Remember the good old days when “bias” was the media’s biggest problem?
Well, as you will see below, today’s media are full-blown gangsters — liars, extortionists, and champions of violence.
Here’s 2017’s list of winners.
Onward to 2018…

But leftist violence against President Trump and other Republicans is virtually ignored. Or as the saying goes: “Whthout double standards, the media would have no standards at all.”by John Nolte:
As far as which is more pathetic, pick one: The fact that the establishment media are exploiting an appalling crime to intimidate their critics into silence or the fact that it was so predictable they would do so. Either way, it is the most ignorant, cynical, and un-American way to respond to an attempted terror attack I have ever seen.
Over the past week, some monster mailed some ten pipe bombs to high-profile Democrats, like former Presidents Clinton and Obama. Also on the list were Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), former Vice President Joe Biden, and by way of CNN, John Brennan, the former director of the CIA.
Thankfully, so far, not a single one of the bombs has gone off. There is some speculation they were not meant to go off; they were deliberate duds. Regardless, it is still an inexcusable act of terrorism.
Every decent person is appalled by political violence. This is where our country and culture should be able to draw a thick red line and stand behind it as one. And in a healthy democracy, a place where the media are not poisoned beyond hope by their own hate, that would happen. But the hate-driven media can never allow such a thing.
President Trump, the White House, and Vice President Pence all responded to these pipe bombs in precisely the correct way — with outrage and a promise to track down the terrorist(s). They asked that the country unite against this barbarism.
Already, though, and without any evidence, the Democrat talking points had gone out, and the media were already blaming Trump. Although we have no idea who mailed these bombs or what the motive is, already it was Drumpf’s fault,
Naturally, Jeff Zucker, the chief of far-left CNN, was one of the first to officially divide the country over this issue, one of the first to officially attempt to use these mail bombs to silence criticism of his fake news network.
“There is a total and complete lack of understanding at the White House about the seriousness of their continued attacks on the media: The President, and especially the White House Press Secretary, should understand their words matter,” Zucker said in a statement Wednesday. “Thus far, they have shown no comprehension of that.”
And so here we are, living in an America where the media — think about that — the media…
- …blame no less than the President of the United States for a bomb scare he had nothing to do with, regardless of the motive.
- …exploit a terror attack in the same way a fascist government does — to silence critics.
- …exploit a terror attack for political advantage in the run-up to a national election.
- …exploit a terror attack to dump all over nothing less than the First Amendment.
And what gall, especially when you remember that all of this is coming from the same corrupt media that have rigorously ignored, downplayed, excused, justified, and even encouraged the epidemic of violence, vandalism, and harassment Trump supporters have faced during the last few years. About 610 separate incidents by our count, including the mass murder attempt at a baseball field full of Republican lawmakers, including ricin and white powder mailed to Republican senators and the president’s own family. Read the rest HERE.
Here is the thing that is so amusing about CNN… Pretty much every day the far-left network engages in numerous acts of self-humiliation. A Don Lemon or Chris Cuomo or Jake Tapper or Brian Stelter says or does something that forever stains their character, that reveals the hideous person beneath … and for what?
If CNN had anything other than tragic ratings, if CNN were in second place or even close to second place, I could understand the shamelessness, the tabloid approach to covering politics. But CNN’s ratings are not only awful, they are miraculously awful. Not only is CNN in far-last place, The Least Trusted Name In News does not even have a breakout star or show. Throughout all of last quarter, and only in competition with two other networks (MSNBC and Fox), not a single CNN show — not even one — placed in the top 20.
Think about how awful CNN is to accomplish such a thing, to only have two other networks to compete with and still not place even one show in the top 20 throughout an entire quarter.
Here’s another scenario that might makes sense of CNN’s relentless campaign of self-degradation… Let’s say CNN’s ratings are just as bad, but with breaking stories and smart reporting, CNN is having an impact on public opinion and the news cycle. If that was the case, I could understand the freak show, because having an impact matters. And if it takes a freak show to have an impact, so be it. Except…
CNN has no impact at all. All of the Big Stories CNN broke this year turned out to be fake news, and ever since Carl Bernstein’s disgrace, CNN has pretty much stopped reporting. Like a prize fighter who got knocked out, the anti-Trump channel seems scared to get back in the ring. So what does CNN do instead…?
CNN is now a 24/7, left-wing echo chamber of hate, violence, and flamingly awful hot takes; a safe space by way of an anti-Trump safe space by way of panel after panel after panel of unimpressive people who all agree with one another signaling their own virtue and spewing poison at their political enemies.
So here is my theory as to why CNN has decided to become a full-time freak show…
Nothing CNN chief Jeff Zucker has tried over the last five years has succeeded. Nothing. His morning show, which should have been his crown jewel, is one of the lowest rated shows in all of cable news.
Overall, Zucker has failed utterly in lifting CNN’s ratings out of far last place. In fact, CNN sheds viewers by double digits most every month.
Even worse have been CNN’s attempts at journalism. Pretty much everything CNN reports is eventually uncovered as fake news. Because of this, CNN’s reputation is in tatters, beyond repair — the network is a national punch-line, a laughingstock.
So that leaves Carnival Barker Zucker and his Circus Geeks with only one option — to put on the freak show. The only thing CNN has left, the only way CNN can garner attention anymore is through self-abasement, is to capture our attention as we wait to see just how low Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, Jake Tapper, Brian Stelter and the rest are willing to go.
All CNN has left is to bite the heads off of chickens in the hopes it will go viral, because that is, well, something — that is at least some level of celebrity, some form of attention.
In other words, CNN is in a position where it has nothing to lose. Things could not possibly get worse, so why hide? Why be professional? Why be decent? With nothing left to lose, CNN staffers are free to reveal themselves as the unscrupulous, mean-spirited, clueless, angry babies they really are.
And there is no doubt that President Trump’s ongoing successes combined with last week’s confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court and Kanye West opening his eyes to the 50 year failure of the Democrat Party, has freaked out the CNN freaks in ways we have never before seen.
This week was a week of all new lows at CNN; 17 by my count, and I probably missed a few.
In no particular order… Read the rest at breitbart.com.
Even CNN’s Twitter Profile Page begins with fake news
Some 128 establishment news outlets are coordinating an attack against President Trump that is scheduled to launch on August 16.
While the media have undoubtedly been coordinating against Trump ever since he announced his candidacy (after all, there is a reason every news outlet reports on the exact same stories using the exact same left-wing narrative), this is the first time I am aware of where the media have openly and proudly coordinated to attack Trump.
This coming attack is premised on the entitled belief within the establishment media that the First Amendment protects the media from criticism, and that the First Amendment restricts a sitting president from criticizing the media.
How else to explain 128 (and counting) news outlets coordinating to attack the president for daring to criticize the media for launching coordinated attacks against him.
The event is being organized by the far-left Boston Globe.
Basically, on August 16, some 128 strongly worded op-eds will run to mislead readers into believing criticism of the media is “unacceptable” and an “attack on the First Amendment.” Read the rest of this article at breitbart.com.

I keep receiving discount subscription offers from the New York Times. I reply with: “No thank you, I get my Fake News for free.”
From what we know so far, conservative talker Sean Hannity had a limited business relationship with Michael Cohen, who is also President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, and who just had his offices, home, and hotel room raided by the FBI. Because Hannity is a commentator with four hours to fill every day, he has a lot to say about the raid.
But now that a partisan judge (to say the least — the swamp is deep, my friends) has forced Cohen to reveal that Hannity is a client, everyone in the establishment media (read those with much lower ratings than Hannity) have the knives out because Hannity did not reveal this potential conflict of interest.
So desperate are they to bloody Hannity, the media have just done a very good thing with the creation of what we will call the “Sean Hannity Standard,” a standard that demands commentators and reporters disclose any and all potential conflicts-of-interest pertaining to the story or person they are reporting on.
What a wonderful idea!
Over at the far-left Politico, Michael Calderone writes, that Hannity “should have disclosed that he’s a client of Cohen’s.”
What a wonderful idea!
Kathleen Bartzen Culver, director of the Center for Journalism Ethics at the University of Wisconsin, told Politico, “commentators should still be expected to maintain independence from subjects they covering and disclose relevant ties.”
What a wonderful idea!
CNN, Media Matters, MSNBC… Everyone agrees with this wonderful idea!
And I could not agree more.
It is long past time for the media to pour sunshine on any and all potential conflicts-of-interest.
And the timing could not be more perfect. Good grief, less than 24 hours before the creation of the “Sean Hannity Standard,” former-President Bill Clinton’s very own press secretary George Stephanopoulos interviewed James Comey, the disgraced former chief of the FBI, about his decision not to prosecute Bill Clinton’s wife Hillary over her countless email crimes (bold type, mine).
Naturally, neither ABC or Stephanopoulos bothered to disclose this.
But thanks to the “Sean Hannity Standard” this will never happen again.

The debate over gay marriage began with local conversations. Each of the 50 states would decide the issue on their own. After we discussed the matter amongst ourselves and everyone had a say, we would have ourselves a vote.
During this debate, we were assured and reassured that gay marriage would not affect us. All we want are our rights! All we want is equality! All we want is to be like you! It’s no skin off your nose! Over and over, we were promised this.
Pop culture also weighed in. TV, movies, documentaries, and various news magazines, promised us that gay marriage would bring everyone together. Carefully manufactured depictions portrayed gay nuptials as a means for families and communities to heal old wounds while a sense of Happily Ever After descended over the land.
Then came the phony media polls that showed a majority in favor of gay marriage. But, as actual voting proved, those polls were rigged. In referendums all around the country, even California, gay marriage failed.
This is when the left’s mask came off.
After voting proved Americans were understandably uneasy about gay marriage, the left and their media allies showed their true selves. The era of discussion and democracy abruptly ended. Suddenly we were the targets of venomous hate campaigns, of boycotts. Even though we held the same view of gay marriage Barack Obama did just a few months earlier, the media sought to turn us into something socially unacceptable — we were ostracized, slapped with a scarlet letter as bigots, homophobes, and Nazis who hid behind our evil Christianity.
Fast forward to 2018… And here we go again. continue reading at breitbart.com.
