Democrats Consider Becoming ‘More Ruthless’ After Losing Brett Kavanaugh Battle

by John Nolte:

After losing the war to defeat Brett Kavanaugh, Democrats are thinking about becoming even “more ruthless,” reports the far-left Politico.

After launching at least a half-dozen debunked and outright phony allegations of criminal sexual deviancy against Kavanaugh, after accusing him of running a gang rape ring where women were drugged as a means to incapacitate them, after legitimizing the harassment of President Trump and Kavanaugh supporters up to and including chasing them out of public spaces, Democrats are thinking about becoming “more ruthless”?

Other than violence, what is left?

In all seriousness, how can Democrats become “more ruthless” than they have already been without resorting to violence?

The Politico piece is utterly deranged in its fact-free premise, including anti-science nonsense such as, “Democrats keep playing by a set of rules.”

Donald Trump Jr. to Obama: ‘Abracadabra!’ My Dad Fixed the Economy You Could Not

by Matthew Boyle:

Donald Trump Jr. told Breitbart News Saturday he is thrilled that former President Barack Obama is active on the 2018 midterm campaign trail because it shows a clear contrast between Obama’s failed policies and his father, President Donald Trump’s, successful policies.

“Without question, he’s our best salesman,” Trump Jr. said of Obama on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel. “No one with a brain actually believes he did anything good for our economy or for our foreign policy. Everyone saw that anything he did basically put America at risk and made us weaker. Every time he drew a red line, other countries walked all over it. He did it again, and they walked all over it. Guess what? Countries, whether it’s foreign policy-wise or whether it’s business-wise, they realize you have someone now that actually cares about America in there, that’s actually doing it–not someone who’s going to make us look weak where you can walk all over us because that’s the precedent that he set. There’s a new sheriff in town. We’ve changed all that.” read the rest at breitbart.com.

RNC Releases Hilarious Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Video Ad

The Republican National Committee released a hilarious new ad taking aim at the Democratic Party’s rising Socialist  Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The ad, titled “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: The Future of the Democratic Party,” is a mashup of the candidate and the scene in Billy Madison where the high school principal is responding in disgust to a ridiculous answer to a question. The Democratic Socialist candidate was recently called the “future of the party” by DNC Chairman Tom Perez. Continue reading at thegatewaypundit.com.

NY Socialist Upsets Establishment Dem

‘Abolish ICE!’ Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Upsets Rep. Joe Crowley in New York Primary

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a 28-year-old, Bernie-Sanders-supporting political novice, has defeated incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY) in the 14th congressional district in the New York primary.

With 88% of precincts reporting in the heavily-Democratic district that spans Queens and the Bronx, Ocasio-Cortez had crushed Crowley, 57.6% to 42.4%, a margin of nearly 3,600 votes.

CNN notes that Ocasio-Cortez is a self-described “democratic socialist.”

Crowley, currently in his 10th term and the chair of the House Democratic Caucus — ranked 4th in the whole caucus — was considered a possible future candidate for Speaker of the House, and had not faced a primary challenge in 14 years.

He has now become the first major casualty of the so-called “Resistance” — the left-wing movement that emerged to oppose President Donald Trump but has also clashed with the Democratic Party establishment.

DeSantis Goes Trump — Dispatches Cease and Desist Letter to Stop Attack Ad

AP/J. Scott Applewhite

by Jeff Poor

TALLAHASSEE, Florida – Florida Agricultural Commissioner Adam Putnam’s allies might have attacked front-runner Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) as being out of touch with President Donald Trump, but DeSantis’ campaign has responded with a Trump-style attack to counter those claims.

One of the Florida gubernatorial primary race’s early controversies involves an onslaught of negative, and according to the DeSantis campaign, “defamatory” ads from the National Liberty Federation (NLF), a 501(c)(4) social welfare nonprofit that is not required to disclose its donors.

The ads claimed DeSantis was out of step with President Donald Trump and “voted to give food stamps to people who were in the United States illegally.” The ad further claimed DeSantis “has taken hundreds of thousands from Wall Street, defense contractors and wealthy lawyers.” Continue reading at breitbart.com.

Well I guess he couldn’t stand it any longer, so at 8:19 Friday morning, the games began.

Mitt Romney to Announce Senate Run Thursday on Social Media

UPDATE: Mitt Romney announced late Wednesday that he will be delaying his announcement about a Utah U.S. Senate bid due to the deadly shooting at a high school in Florida.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Mitt Romney will launch his Utah Senate campaign Thursday morning with a low key announcement on social media, and will make his first public appearance a day later near Salt Lake City with a keynote address to a gathering of grassroots Republicans.

Romney teased his run for Senate in a Feb. 1 tweet, saying that he would have an announcement to make on Feb. 15. On Wednesday, Romney previewed his campaign again in a short Facebook post. Sources in Utah told the Washington Examiner that Romney that will officially jump into the 2018 Senate race with a digital announcement, rather than holding at a staged rally with supporters.

Romney for a couple of weeks has been scheduled to be in Provo on Friday to headline the Utah County Republican Party Lincoln Day dinner. Like most of the state, Utah County is heavily Republican. The region is also among the most populous and politically influential in statewide campaigns. Continue reading at washingtonexaminer.com.

Bannon Decimates Mitt Romney At Rally for Roy Moore

Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon decimates two-time failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney after Romney’s anti Roy More tweet.

Bannon spoke at a rally for Alabama Republican senatorial candidate, Judge Roy Moore on Tuesday night. This video covers the portion where he dealt with Mitt Romney. Transcript below:

Let’s talk about another beauty, Willard Mitt Romney. Now I want you to understand something, it was Willard Mitt Romney’s comment yesterday, his tweet or whatever it was, that and the only reason I’m going there Mitt, because he started it. Mitt you had to go there. All the insults you made about the president of the United States, put all that in back of us. You know he interviewed you for Secretary of State, everything’s fine. But no, Judge Moore’s got to run, you got to jump in here.

Honor. What did he say yesterday? Honor and integrity? Honor, that Judge Moore lacked honor and integrity. And that’s why he couldn’t vote for him, right? Couldn’t support him. Couldn’t support him.

Judge Moore is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Judge Moore served his country, in one of the toughest wars we’ve ever had, Vietnam. And he went over there, he went over there, for his country, his state and his family. Mitt, that’s honor and integrity. And by the way Mitt, while we’re on the subject of Vietnam and honor and integrity, you avoided service brother, right? You didn’t serve, Good. Ok Mitt, Mitt. Here’s how it is brother: Now the college deferments, it’s you know, that’s, that’s how it is. You know, we can debate that, but you hid behind your religion. You went to France to be a missionary when guys were dying in rice paddies in Vietnam. Do not talk to me about honor and integrity.

And now I’m going to get personal. You had, you ran for commander-in-chief. You had five sons. Not one day of service in Afghanistan and Iraq. We have 7,000 dead, and 52,000 casualties. And where were the Romneys during those wars? You want to talk about honor integrity brother, bring it. Bring it down here to Alabama. You have the guts to get on the stage, you have the guts to get on a stage of a man that served in Vietnam. And you expect us to believe honor integrity?

Judge Roy Moore has more honor and integrity in that pinky finger then your entire family has and his whole DNA. And you know why he’s on Judge Moore. He’s still bitter about Donald Trump. Embrace it Mitt. He is President of the United States, and commander-in-chief of the armed forces, something you so miserably failed at.

Conservative Leaders Urge Mitch McConnell to Resign

The Tea Party Patriots, FreedomWorks, and the Senate Conservatives Fund called on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and the rest of Senate leadership to resign over their inability to pass President Donald Trump’s agenda, which includes repealing and replacing Obamacare, confirming federal judges, and funding a southern border wall.

The grassroots conservative leaders chastised the members of Senate leadership, which includes Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO), Sen. John Thune (R-SD), and Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY). The conservatives argued that the Senate leadership should resign to make way for more effective lawmakers who will enact the president’s populist agenda.

Jenny Beth Martin, the co-founder of the Tea Party Patriots, explained that Republicans gained a majority in Congress thanks to grassroots conservatives’ activism. In exchange for their support, Republicans promised to fulfill conservatives’ agenda. Martin said:

Those grassroots volunteers – millions of whom I represent, as Co-Founder and CEO of Tea Party Patriots – were motivated to work by the campaign promises made by Republican candidates.

They promised to end the Obama era practice of spending more than the government takes in, so we can balance the budget and pay down our $20 trillion national debt.

They promised to end the Obama era overreach of the federal government.

They promised to hold accountable the Internal Revenue Service officials responsible for illegally targeting us for our political beliefs.

They promised to nominate and confirm Constitutionalists to the federal bench.

They promised to secure our borders, protect American jobs, and end the scourge of illegal immigration.

And in their most famous campaign promise of all, they promised to repeal ObamaCare, and I quote, “root and branch.”

For nine months, our supporters have been urging Republicans in Congress to do one simple thing: Keep your promises.

Those pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

Martin stated, “But as long as Mitch McConnell is Majority Leader of the United States Senate, that illegal special exemption for Congress is going to stay in place. All these failures have one thing in common – they represent a FAILURE of LEADERSHIP,” adding that “Mitch McConnell has had his chance. He has failed to deliver. It is TIME FOR HIM TO GO.”

Adam Brandon, the president of FreedomWorks, argued that Republicans need new leadership if they ever want to pass their legislative agenda to cut taxes, repeal Obamacare, and rein in government regulations. He charged:

It’s time for new leadership. Mitch McConnell has been a failure in the Senate and has cost Republicans almost a year of victories. He has demonstrated that he either does not understand the frustration coming from conservatives and the urgency of passing key legislation – or he does not care.

He failed to repeal Obamacare with his majority in the Senate. The House has passed the REINS Act and the Financial CHOICE Act, but McConnell is exerting no energy to get those to the floor for a vote.

Now we are focused on tax reform. The House has passed its budget, and Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady is ready to work. Yet again, the Senate is not moving. They even left for a week during crunch time.

Brandon said during the press conference, “In a few months, we’re going to hear about Democratic obstruction. We can’t blame the Democrats on this.”

David Bozell of For America explained that McConnell remains incredibly unpopular, elaborating to say that McConnell has a 9 percent popularity in his home state of Kentucky, 18 percent popularity nationwide, and 40 percent net negative unpopularity among Trump supporters. He added, “The time is now for a leadership change.”
