Today is President’s Day.
Presidents’ Day, officially Washington’s Birthday, in the United States, holiday (third Monday in February) popularly recognized as honouring George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. The day is sometimes understood as a celebration of the birthdays and lives of all U.S. presidents – Britannica.com
Somehow though, I can’t help wondering: How many of the administrators, faculty, students and staff at Abraham Lincoln Middle School in Gainesville, Florida, for example, actually know that President Lincoln was a Republican?
