    We’ve already seen many of our freedoms abridged, some seriously, and it will get much worse if Democrats win the presidency and the Senate in 2020. If we don’t get Trump under control, or an excellent replacement for him in the 2020 election, we’re going to look back fondly on the Obama years! Just imagine someone like Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders or, God forbid, Nancy Pelosi in the White House with Democrats in control of both Houses. Don’t think it could happen? Better think again.

    The long-term prospects of this country will be greatly improved once WE eliminate the Department of Education. The D of E is a sewer teaming with socialist and communist parasites. And the kids are being brainwashed daily.

      Our long-term prospects would be greatly improved if a LOT of things happened, but we need to focus on what we CAN accomplish. I agree with you completely about the Dept. of Education, and I’ll toss in the Dept. of Energy too, but please tell me something: what’s the last federal department that’s been dissolved and eliminated? It seems that, once you have thousands of entrenched bureaucrats somewhere, they NEVER go away.
