HuffPo Laments That One Year In, ‘Trump Is Winning’

by Thomas D. Williams, PH.D.

In the midst of much hand-wringing and anguished sighs, the Huffington Post has announced to its readers that after his first year in office “Trump Is Winning.”

“This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write and admit,” begins Earl Ofari Hutchinson, “Trump is winning.”

Hutchinson, an author and co-host of the Al Sharpton Show, observes that according to numerous indicators the Trump presidency is a success, beginning with his delivery of a long list of campaign promises.

Among Mr. Trump’s many victories, Hutchinson enumerates Mick Mulvaney’s appointment to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Neil Gorsuch’s contribution to the Supreme Court, Scott Pruitt’s work at the EPA, Trump’s support of fossil fuels to make America energy independent, the RNC backing of judge Roy Moore in Alabama, the fizzling out of Russiagate, the passage of the tax reform bill, and the record-level stock market.

Yet all of these wins are small potatoes compared to Trump’s three top victories, Hutchinson claims.

First, the President has successfully taken charge of the Republican Party. “He is the point man for GOP policy and issues and, in a perverse way, the spur to get action on them,” Hutchinson notes.

Second, Mr. Trump has managed to energize his base and keep their loyalty. The “overwhelming majority” of Republican voters continues to back him, Hutchinson admits. “This is the voter loyalty that buys a lot of support from the GOP establishment even as they flail him or shake their head in disgust at his antics,” he writes.

Third, Trump has successfully harnessed the mainstream media for his own purposes. “He remains a ratings cash cow for the networks and makes stunning copy for the print media,” Hutchinson complains. “He knew that from day one of his presidential bid and he knows it even more now. He will continue to suck the media air out of everything that the Democrats do and try to do.”

While praising the war on Trump waged by the New York Times and “other liberal print publications,” Hutchinson recognizes that for much of the Trump base these papers have lost all credibility. “So the withering criticism of Trump in these publications is tantamount to a wolf howling in the wind,” he says. Ship of Fools

Many folks in media are definitely on the Ship of Fools. This week the Lame Stream Media is proving (yet again) that they are either…

a) totally inept
b) DNC operatives thinly disguised as “journalists”
c) suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome
d) all the above

Our propaganda pundits are working overtime to crank out FAKE NEWS. Thankfully, the New Media calls them out on their lies in near real time.

The Democratic Party is in decline. They have no real leaders on the horizon and those running the show are hopelessly corrupt. The Clintons are criminals. Nancy Pelosi is losing her mind. Joe Biden is a laughable pervert. Podesta practices Satanism. Bernie Sanders isn’t a ‘progressive.’ Stop calling him that. He’s nothing more than a communist who pocketed donations from the common man. Bernie knew he had no chance against the DNC machine. Despite the rigging and abuse he faced, he endorsed his abuser. Perez, the new DNC chairman is a ‘nut job.’ Maxine Waters is a raving lunatic. Read more at

GOP Preps Contempt Resolution for Top FBI, DOJ Officials

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., has accused the FBI and Department of Justice of a “months-long pattern … of stonewalling and obstructing this committee’s oversight work.” (iStock)

by Susan Ferrechio

The House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday will begin writing a resolution holding top FBI officials in contempt of Congress after the agency missed a Monday deadline to turn over key evidence the committee has been seeking for months.

“We are moving forward with the contempt resolution,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., told the Washington Examiner Tuesday morning. He added that the panel is still negotiating with FBI and Justice Department officials to get the requested documents.

Nunes has accused the FBI and Department of Justice of a “months-long pattern … of stonewalling and obstructing this committee’s oversight work.”

Those accusations boiled over during the weekend, after stories were leaked to the New York Times and Washington Post saying that FBI agent Peter Strzok, a key investigator in the Trump-Russian probe, was removed from the Russia probe after exchanging text messages critical of Trump to another FBI agent he was involved with romantically. Republicans had been seeking information about why he was removed, but were never told anything by FBI or Justice Department directly.

Nunes had also been seeking information about the FBI and Justice Department’s use of the Steele dossier, which contains damning but unverified information about President Trump. Read the rest at

Under the Bus: ABC News Conveniently Leaks Its Fury Over Brian Ross’s Fake News

Rainmaker Photo/MediaPunch/IPX

by John Nolte

In an apparent effort to salvage its reputation, a convenient and timely leak sprung up at ABC News Monday regarding disgraced reporter Brian Ross. And now, thanks to this convenient and timely leak, the whole wide world knows that ABC News president James Goldston has never “felt more rage and disappointment and frustration that I felt through this weekend and through the last half of Friday.”

If you think that is unfair or cynical, you should know that back in 2012, when Ross disgraced himself by falsely blaming a movie theater shooting on a Tea Partier, Goldston’s conference call of righteous rage was also conveniently leaked, that time to the left-wing Politico.

This convenient and timely leak somehow ended up at the left-wing CNN.

As we all now know, Brian Ross, one of the most notorious fake news-spreaders not currently working at CNN or the Washington Post, tanked the stock market Friday morning with the outrageously false claim that President Trump’s former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn was prepared to testify that candidate Trump ordered him to get in contact with the Russians.

No one at all familiar with the left-wing Ross believed that bunk for a second, but stocks still tanked because this bombshell could only mean one thing — that Trump is in fact guilty of colluding with the Dirty Reds and was therefore on the road to impeachment.

There was just one little problem — it was not true. Not even close. It was President-elect Trump who told his incoming national security advisor to contact the Russians, not candidate Trump, and that difference is all the difference —  is the difference between Trump acting responsibly and acting impeachably (if that is not a real world thank the public schools).

Anyway, because ABC News is a real news organization committed to objective truth, it took the left-wing network seven hours(!) to issue a “clarification.” Not a correction, mind you. Not a retraction. A clarification; which is exactly what we have come to expect from the Clinton Foundation Network.

And so, in order to prove itself a real news organization buried in real journalists committed to all that is holy and righteous about journalism, ABC News punished Ross by … giving him four weeks off (over the holidays) without pay.

Oh, no, not that briar patch.

Naturally, that so-called punishment did not go over very well with those of us who do not cocktail and backslap in the velvet, high-rise salons populated by our media elite — you know, us Deplorables  who are actually held accountable when we do things like, say, tank the stock market with fake news. Antifa Rallies Planned in at Least 20 U.S. Cities

Won’t ‘Stop Until This Regime Driven from Power’

By Penny Starr

The left-wing, Antifa Refuse Fascism group is planning rallies in at least 20 cities across the United States on Saturday to demand that the duly-elected President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence be “driven from power.”

In a full-page ad in the New York Times on Wednesday, the group advertised its event:

Nov 4 it begins — be there — join with the thousands who will gather in cities and towns across the country. A movement of protests that continue every day and night, growing until we become millions … determined not to stop until this is driven from power.

Newsweek reported on Thursday:

“Refuse fascism,” a nascent protest group with ties to a more explicitly left-wing radical group, “the revolutionary communist party,” doesn’t seem like a typical fit for the left-leaning pages of the paper known as The Gray Lady, but very little has been normal about the Trump era so far, according to organizers.

The regime is destroying the planet by ignoring climate change, they say, and they claim it is turning America into a fascist country through an unprecedented series of executive orders.

“What Trump and his administration are doing could pose an existential threat to humanity,” Andy Zee, a member of the advisory board for Refuse Fascism, told Newsweek in a phone interview.

“We’re in one of the most perilous moments in history right now,” Zee said. Read more at:

College Republicans Under Investigation for ‘Thought Crime’

By Toni Airaksinen

The Columbia University student government recently voted to report the school’s College Republicans chapter to the Student Conduct Office for hosting conservative speakers such as Tommy Robinson and Mike Cernovich.

CR President Ari Boosalis called the move an effort to prosecute “thought crime,” saying, “They want to silence the speech of anyone who’s Christian, conservative, who believes in free market values.”

The Columbia University College Republicans are under investigation after student government officials voted Sunday to report the group to the Student Conduct Office.

In a resolution passed Sunday night, the Columbia College Student Council voted to file a discrimination and harassment report against CUCR, citing the group’s invitation of conservative speakers such as Tommy Robinson and Mike Cernovich.

“They want to silence the speech of anyone who’s Christian, conservative, who believes in free market values.”

The resolution was made after Columbia student Braxton Gutner, leader of the school’s Black Students Organization, came to the meeting to call for CUCR to be defunded.

Gutner urged students to support a petition demanding that Columbia “deem CUCR ineligible to receive [funding],” and to “redistribute” their funding to “self-identified Muslim groups,” and “people of color focused groups.” Continue reading this article at

NY Sen. Schumer Created Diversity Visas Which Invited Alleged Killer to NY

Chuckie, Chuckie, Chuckie…

Bt Neil Munro

The Democrats’ Senate leader, N.Y. Sen. Chuck Schumer helped create the diversity visa program which reportedly provided a green card to the Islamic immigrant who allegedly killed eight New Yorkers on October 31.

The diversity visa program was created in 1990 by then-Rep. Schumer in response to Irish lobbies in his New York district. Twenty-seven years later, it annually awards 50,000 visas by annual lottery to entrants from around the world, ensuring a cascade of subsequent chain-migrants.

An August poll shows that only one-in-six Americans strongly favors the program, despite much political and media pressure to welcome migrants. Politico and Morning Consult conducted the poll of 1,992 registered voters, which showed:

University of Florida To Offer Grief Counseling To Students Offended by Halloween Costumes

By Pardes Seleh  October 14, 2016

In preparation for Halloween, the University of Florida assures students it will provide counseling services around the clock to anyone who feels offended by a costume.

In a statement published on the school’s website, the university urged students to “think about your choices of costumes and themes,” and avoid costumes that look like they might be reinforcing a particular cultural, racial, gender, or religious stereotype.

A Caitlyn Jenner costume, for instance, is “exploitative and transphobic,” according to an online petition to ban retailers who sold Caitlyn costumes last year.

“Regardless of intent, these costumes can perpetuate negative stereotypes, causing harm and offense to groups of people,” the website reads, reminding students that violating such guidelines can negatively impact their reputations and job perspectives.

Even wearing a seemingly benign cultural outfit such as a Mexican sombrero in a group photo can lead to public humiliation and forced apologies, as had occurred to the University of Louisville president last Halloween. Failure to join the boycott of “offensive” Halloween costumes can lead professors to be publicly shamed and driven out of their positions, which is what happened at Yale last year after a professor attempted to defend the First Amendment rights of students to wear the Halloween costumes of their choice.

The school’s statement encourages students who feel offended by such offensive costumes to take advantage of the school’s 24/7 counseling center and report “incidences of bias” to the University of Florida’s Bias Education and Response Team (BERT) for further support. The following is an excerpt from the school’s statement earlier this week:

If you are troubled by an incident that does occur, please know that there are many resources available. Please take advantage of the 7 day a week presence of the U Matter, We Care program at the University of Florida by emailing Additionally, there is a 24/7 counselor in the Counseling and Wellness Center available to speak by phone at 352-392-1575. Lastly, the Bias Education and Response Team at the University of Florida is able to respond to any reported incidents of bias, to educate those that were involved, and to provide support by connecting those that were impacted to the appropriate services and resources. You may submit a bias incident report at
