A number of House Republicans are petitioning President Trump to quickly sign an executive order that adds the American citizenship question to the 2020 Census.

Trump’s Commerce Department first announced last year that the American citizenship question — i.e., all U.S. residents are asked whether or not they are a U.S. citizen — would be put back on the Census form for 2020. Since 1950, the citizenship question has not been asked on the full Census, leaving the nation without an exact estimate of how many citizens and noncitizens are in the country.

Most recently, the U.S. Supreme Court voted five-four to block the addition of the citizenship question on the upcoming Census, though reports have circulated that Trump is planning to sign an executive order to ensure that the question is put on the 2020 Census forms.

In a letter to Attorney General William Barr on Wednesday, 19 House Republicans asked that Trump sign an executive order as soon as possible that would place the citizenship question on the 2020 Census, noting its importance in knowing the impact of the country’s mass illegal and legal immigration system.

The letter states:

We are writing today to encourage you to work with President Trump to support the issuance of a memorandum or executive order appropriate under our Constitution and laws to clearly outline the President’s rationale for including a citizenship question on the census. Inclusion of such a citizenship question is clearly constitutional and lawful, and as members of Congress we can say unequivocally that we support inclusion of such a question and that it is critical that the President do so as quickly as possible as we prepare for the coming census. [Emphasis added] From our vantage point in Congress, there are numerous important reasons to include the question on the census, of which the President clearly is aware. Those reasons range from determining appropriations levels for states and localities and having data for states to make decisions on ballot box placement, to collection of data for purposes of understanding the impact of immigration (legal and illegal) on communities, as well as obviously impacting apportionment and re-districting. [Emphasis added] Despite claims to the contrary, citizenship is unquestionably germane to carrying out our duty to apportion representatives. Setting aside the fact it remains an unsettled question as to whether states can, in fact, use citizenship data in redistricting, the 14th Amendment demands that we take into account citizenship in allocation of representation. Under section 2 of the 14th Amendment – and as further amended by the 19th and 26th Amendments – in order that we be able to enforce the penalty put in place by the Amendment’s authors and ratifiers for any interference with the right to vote, the administration arguably is required to capture the citizenship information. [Emphasis added]

Those who petitioned Trump to immediately sign an executive order to include the citizenship question on the Census include:

  • Chip Roy (R-TX)
  • Mo Brooks (R-AL)
  • Jody Hice (R-GA)
  • Bill Posey (R-FL)
  • Paul Gosar (R-AZ)
  • Jeff Duncan (R-SC)
  • Jim Jordan (R-OH)
  • Ted Yoho (R-FL)
  • Ralph Norman (R-SC)

  • Louie Gohmert (R-TX)
  • Warren Davidson (R-OH)

Ken Cuccinelli: ICE Ready to Deport Approx. 1M Illegal Aliens with Final Deportation Orders

Acting United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Ken Cuccinelli says the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency is ready to deport about a million illegal aliens who remain in the country despite having final orders for deportation.

During an interview with CBS News on Sunday, Cuccinelli said despite a delay of mass deportations by President Trump two weeks ago, ICE agents are ready to detain and deport the roughly one million illegal aliens who have been ordered deported from the country.

Cuccinelli said:

[ICE agents are] ready to just perform their mission which is to go and find and detain and then deport the approximately one million people who have final removal orders. They’ve been all the way through the due process and have final removal orders. Who among those will be targeted for this particular effort or not is really just information kept within ICE. [Emphasis added]

Cuccinelli said mass deportations by ICE of illegal aliens with final deportation orders “should be going on on a rolling basis” and blamed “the politics of Washington” for interfering with ICE operations. Read the rest HERE.

Reparations PAID IN FULL

Most of the Democratic candidates are now pushing for ‘reparations.’ They must know it’s all ludicrous, impractical, and unfair, but it’s another way to divide the country.

Reparations were paid in blood when over 600,000 men died fighting the Civil War. America has already righted the wrong that was slavery.

The reparation talk isn’t really what it seems, though. It’s simply about the Socialist Democrats seizing on any issue that will raise our taxes while making more people dependent on government.

They don’t want us coming together. We are already a divided nation and reparations will only widen the gulf. Our divided nation is already fighting a second civil war, albeit it cold one. We don’t need to turn it into a hot one.

President Trump “The Dictator” is Having a 4th of July Parade

The wild and crazy left-of-left crazies from the so-called news media, Hollywood, and even our own government, who are trying to take over our beloved country and tear it down from its roots are now doubling down on their hatred of our president.

Politicians, pundits, and performers are pouncing on President Trump and calling him dictator. It’s not like they’ve never done so before. But I’ve never seen it with so much volume and hate. All, they say, because we will be showcasing our beloved military, and our might in a parade in Washington, DC. When? On the 4th of July, Independence Day. How dictatorial is that? I thought it was patriotic. Oh well, he’s not the first. And I believe Betsy Ross might be weeping right now.

.

Was President Eisenhower a dictator?

How about President John F. Kennedy? Was he a dictator?

How about the Persian Gulf War Veterans?

Watch: 7 National Anthem Performances that Stunned Audiences

While it has become a source of controversy at sporting events over the last few years, singing the national anthem, derived from the work of Francis Scott Key, remains one of America’s most favored and timeless traditions.

Whether it is performed by a Grammy award-winning artist or an ordinary American, a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” is a time when almost all Americans put their differences aside to honor the men and women who defend this nation.

In no particular order, here are seven renditions of America’s national anthem that not to be missed. Watch the videos HERE.

What About America?

by Abraham H. Miller

I don’t give a damn where you were 60 years ago on civil rights. I don’t care if your great grand-pappy owned slaves or you grew up in rural Louisiana and used the “N” word as often as a contemporary rapper. I can’t get vexed about 2000 children at the border not getting enough facial tissue and diapers when tens of thousands of American children are sleeping on the streets and in shelters of our cities.

What I want is a president who is going to work for America, whose reputation is grounded by the present, and whose concerns are sharply focused on the future, America’s future.

The sine qua non of great candidates is not where they stood on racism in 1963 but where they stand on America today! Read the rest HERE.
